Karla,
If Frankie has cancer, Immunoregulin will not help. A product called
Acemannan should be considered instead. The only side effect I have heard
of with Immunregulin is that after the shot, some cats become tired or
lethargic or may even shiver a little. I have not noticed any of those in
my animals. I am excited that your vet would try it. If it were me, I'd
go for it. I have seen such improvement in using it. Also, I would not
take a cat off it once one it. My little Greystoke was on it for
approximately 9 months. The vet I used at the time suggested she go off
it to see what would happen (this was back in '94). Four months later she
developed a tumor in her eye. Three months later she died. I have always
regretted taking her off it. I am glad your vet is willing to work with
and *for* you and Frankie; that's half the battle right there. Hope
Frankie starts feeling better--perhaps the change of antibioltic will
help. Nancy
