I don't remember if you've mentioned before what Stinker eats?
Kitties who eat dry food often need lots of water in order not to get
dehydrated. If he's a dry food kitty, then you might want to make
sure he's taking in all that H2O he needs, even if you have to MAKE
him drink it (my cats would scratch me to ribbons, but hey--you've
gotta do what you've gotta do).

If he eats wet food, then he probably needs less. It's said that
kitties on raw diets rarely if ever drink a lot of water because
they're getting moisture from the raw meats and etc., but my kitties
are only partway on raw so still drink filtered water.
