Hi John,
What a neat story about Lizzie! I wanted to tell you that since the vet
increased Lizzie's prednisone, you might consider investing in Vital
Charge. It's available from Infinity 2 and was recommended by Dr. Myers, a
vet who was formerly involved in this group until he was overwhelmed with
e-mail. He said it helps with combating the side effects of
prednisone--he doesn't know how, but that it does. Because he gave what I
consider some good insights and advice to many on this list, I decided to
invest in it and Body Builder, another product he recommends, for Jake.
Jake is getting so much stuff right now that I don't know what is helping
and what isn't, but I can tell you that Jake is hanging in there so . . .
Dr. Myers also recommended a natural cortisol product made from soy to use
instead of prednisone or as part of it. My vet will be calling the
chemist who makes it today or tomorrow--I'll let you know what she thinks.
