Dear Pam
So glad to hear that everyone is adjusting to the new addition. When I had
my first child (a heck of a long time ago now!!!) my grandmother and others
were horrified when I assured them that I had NO intention of getting rid of
my cats. Horror stories abound - old wives' tales all - about cats and
babies .......... it is such nonsense. I had a call from someone just
yesterday who has to find a home for (actually the words they used were "...
get rid of...") their 2 year old neutered male cat because they had a new
baby. It makes my blood boil but obviously the cat will be better off in
the new home that we are going to find for him than in a home where he is
obviously now not wanted. So glad to hear that furries and non-furries are
gettng on so well in your household.
