It has been brought to my attention (given the recent
discussion of colloidal silver) that the FDA is trying to ban this
substance due to "ineffectiveness" and "possible dangers." There is

Since the parent site (www.quackwatch.com) is slanted toward
anti-holistic methods, it is important to remember where this info
comes from. However, I do believe that, since the FDA is involved in
the colloidal silver matter, it bears some further investigation on
the part of those wishing to use it on their feline friends. Does
anyone's holistic vet prescribe the use of this substance? Please
