Martha,
My Rusty had IBD and the things that helped him the most are the
following:
For an appetite stimulant - Periactin (available from the vet)
-probably every other day will be enough, but you can determine that and,
believe it or not, 1/2 a Pepcid A/C to control the vomiting. This combination
worked really well for me. The Pred stopped working and I was not happy
keeping him on that for long periods of time.
You might want to check this out with your vet!
