dear john,
i have become a lurker, since my wiley left me on december 29 last year. i,
for one, am not in the least bothered by long posts. (in fact, if you look
back throught the archives, you will see that i was a long-poster too!) i fell
that, if you have something to say, say it.

this list has helped me and so many others through the ups and downs of our
beloved cats...no need to aplogize for expressing concern, questions, and
emotion. that is what this list is for--or at least that is what it has always
meant to me. a place to turn, where i can find like-minded individuals who
love their furred companions and are willing to do whatever it takes to honor
them, and make their lives worth living, even if they have been written off by
even their doctors. i turned here when my vet wrote off wiley. with the
knowledge, love and support i recieved here, i was able to give my wiley 4
extra months of life. and, i was able to let him go when it was time.

so please, don't apologize for the long posts. don't worry about expressing
your love or concern here. keep helping those cats!
