At this point, Smoky still has some diarrhea (w/blood), but we've
started canned pumpkin. NOT pie filling, just plain old pumpkin. Would
you believe that they actually eat it?!?! And LIKE it. Go figure. My
vet suggested the pumpkin to add more fiber to Smoky's diet - of course,
Bandit gets whatever Smoky gets, ESPECIALLY when it comes to FOOD. I'm
giving them about a teaspoon twice a day. They also are up to a heavier
concentration of the prescription i/d in with their Iams. They free
feed and we haven't had any problems whatsoever with gorging or
overeating or vomiting. Of course, at this age, they run everything off
if they don't use it to grow another three inches while I'm at work:-).
I'll be away from email from Wed. night until Monday as I'm taking them
up to our hometown to get snipped and visit my mom. But I will
definitely keep you posted on their progress with the pumpkin.
